Fire and Ash by Anne Patrick is a fast paced romantic suspense with faith and forgiveness at the heart of the story. The characters are likeable and well developed. The mystery of who is behind the arson is well done with clues sprinkled throughout the story. The dialogue is witty and sharp and helped draw me into the story.
While Sadie and Quinn work on solving their crime, the perpetrator is working at staying a step ahead of their investigation. When Sadie gets close to discovering the truth about the fire, her life is put in danger and it looks like she may become the second victim to die. Will Quinn be able to get to Sadie in time to save her life? And will their blossoming relationship turn into more? You’ll have to read Fire and Ash to find out, I highly recommend it.

Fire and Ash turned out to be a heartwarming sweet romantic read. The sweet romance woven together with family, suspense, loss, grief, faith, God and masterpiece characters make this story real and believable. And with the characters, first of all, the author creates genuine unique characters that blend together, perfect for each other. And she uses these characters in real life situations, their problems, hurts, and struggles and teaches us how the Lord can work in any situation, using people that come into our lives to draw us closer to Him. I really like the way the author weaves the Lord and the Christian parts of the story into the characters everyday lives, fitting it right in with the rest of the story.
I would recommend this book to anyone loving a wonderful sweet romance. It will be worth your read, and teach you a lot of biblical principles as well.

A Page Turner - Bring on the sequel. "It's always nice when you can really connect with the characters that you are reading so much so that you almost feel emotionally invested. Especially to the outcome of their relationship, even if only for a quick minute.

I am now a fan of Anne's and will be looking into her other books.
