4.5 Tickets from Sherry at Love2ReadNovels: "I'll start by saying that the cover totally grabbed my attention and made me long to read the story. What you'll find inside is a finely tuned romantic suspense. One that keeps you engaged from start to finish. You'll find yourself trying to figure out what happened right along with Kasey and Jimmy. Although you may guess who's behind it, you're never really sure until the end, where you see how it all played out. If you're in the mood for a good romantic suspense, I highly recommend a trip to Fire Creek! Watch your step though, there have been a few 'accidents' lately!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is one of the best books I have read in a long time. The main characters of Kasey and Jimmy were believable. You just could not help but root for them to find their answers. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read a good mystery with a little romance thrown in. I will be looking for more of Anne Patrick's books in the future." ~ Reviewed by Ellen H. for Readers Favorite

“Fire Creek by Anne Patrick was a very intriguing book. I was caught from the beginning of the story. There was just the right amount of romance, suspense and tension to keep me reading until I finished the book. The characters were so believable that I felt I was there myself. Kasey comes back to Fire Creek, Montana to bury her beloved cousin, who committed suicide. Apart from the fact that Kasey is a mystery writer who probably sees a story behind every occurrence, she does not believe that Beth took her own life over the death of her fiancé, Lewis Gray Feather. His good friend, Jimmy Little Raven doesn’t believe that Lewis died the way it was portrayed either. Something sinister is going down in Fire Creek. After Kasey and Jimmy compare notes, they come to the conclusion that they need to investigate further. Of course, this only puts their lives in peril also. This story was so wonderfully written that it pulled me into it from the start to the end. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a short, intense mystery."
